Georgia Institute of Technology School of Architecture invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture. The successful candidate will, one, advance research in representation, drawings, and computational processes; and two, contribute to core studio teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degree programs.
Job Responsibilities
This is a full-time 9-month tenure-track appointment requiring residency in Atlanta, Georgia.
The responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to the following:
- Contribute to required design studio teaching across the School of Architecture\’s degree programs (BS Arch and M Arch), including core architecture design studios
- Advance research in representation, drawings, and computational processes
- Contribute to teaching required courses in Media + Modeling and elective courses aligned with research and creative practice
This appointment is scheduled to begin in Fall 2027, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a terminal degree of a Master of Architecture or greater. A doctoral degree is not required but is preferred. Professional licensure is desired but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate expertise and a strong record of teaching, as well as demonstrated potential for public dissemination of creative practice and research.
